The state has declared today a holiday for the installation of Tengku Mukhriz as the new Yam Tuan replacing the late Tuanku Jaafar. We had things planned for the day.
First was to send Pa's car for a paint touch up at the workshop. The bumper got a slightly deep scratch too visible to ignore. We got to the workshop before noon; Pa drove his car while Ma & I followed behind. The car had to be left at the workshop till evening, so we decided to go to Nilai3...in Ma's car.
We took the KASEH highway from Mantin and exited at Pajam for a toll of RM2.30. Its actually further using the highway but just convenient and less stops.
This is the exit at Pajam
Nilai3 was awefully quiet. Its a state holiday but it is usually packed during weekends by people from elsewhere. Quite a normal thing...locals prefer to go out of NS.
Whatdayasay...we have Eiffel Tower in Nilai3
It was lunch time and we decided to have ours at the eateries there. We had no problem at all to find a seat of our choice as the place was literally deserted. Pa and Ma ordered white rice with chicken soup and ulam. Unfortunately the soup was too hot for me. Ma has to get another palte of rice and fried fish for me. We had coconut drink to quench our thirst as it was a really hot day indeed.
My hungry look?
See what I meant by the place being deserted?
We went about Nilai3 stopping to get some accessories for the car. Ma bought herself a baju kurung. Before leaving Nilai3, we stopped by for roti canai at the mamak restaurant.

Pa was very tired and sleepy to drive; so Ma took over from Mantin. We reached the workshop in time before it closes and Pa's car was as good as new...well almost.
We were all very tired and decided to head back to Rantau. Pa followed closely behind Ma's car with me in dreamland at the backseat.
What a Monday we had.
